What Can You DO at Sake Secret?
Sake Secret is THE ONLY retail Sake Specialty Shop in all of L.A. County! You can choose from a huge selection of Japanese alcohol, especially SAKE, to take home at retail price! We also have a Japanese-Style KAKU-UCHI Bar, where you can explore Sake through glass pours, flights, or even enjoy some of your to-go purchase before you take the rest home - as long as it is in a resealable package (most Sake is)!

Sake Secret is not a restaurant. We don't require reservations. We offer educational tastings whenever we are open and pre-packaged snacks for Sake pairings. If you want something more substantial, we recommend you bring your own food, and don't miss our occasional Pop-up collabs with great local chefs! We are also dog friendly to friendly-dogs, but ask you maintain control of them at all times.
PRIVATE EVENTS
Sake Secret has a Japanese-style room with tatami mat flooring and a floor height table to really feel like you're back in Japan. Outdoor footwear of any kind is absolutely forbidden while on the tatami flooring, so shoes that are easy to take off and put on for browsing or using the bathroom are recommended.
The room can comfortably accommodate 14 people.
Pricing
Reserving the Private Room typically costs $400 per hour, per group. However purchase during this time are counted toward your room fee. For example, after 2 hours, you minimum would be $800 +tax, but if you purchased $600 worth of Sake (typically 8 - 12 bottles) you can purchase an additional $200 of Sake to take home, and the remaining fee for the room would be waved.
Can't Sit on the Floor?
We can also accommodate groups of 7 - 12 with Western-stye folding chairs and guided tastings. Here, the typical cost would be a minimum $200 per hour, per group. Again, purchases during this time are counted toward your room fee, and you can purchase additional Sake to take home, to avoid any remaining fee for the space.

We are primarily a retail shop, but we want to help deepen your understanding of Sake, demystifying and inspiring you to feel more confident in selecting the Sake that is best for your personal taste.

For parties up to 50 guests, you can rent out Sake Secret in its entirety for an minimum hourly purchase of $1000. Additionally, you are welcome to invite caterers, and our staff will help you select and pair Sake with whatever food you select.
